OZ: Even though Halloysite is a non metallic mineral and is not priced by the Ounce, we have incorporated it into our logo to honor our presence in the Historic Tintic Mining District. Silver was first discovered in 1869 and in 1870 mining towns began to appear, including Mammoth. The District, at one point, was the #1 silver producer in the world! We like to knowledge our presence here by remembering the past.
Precious Mineralz: Our company and skin care line are called Precious Mineralz. We spell minerals with a Z to make it fun and modern. Precious is in the name because Halloysite is a raw mineral, only mined a handful of places in the world. We knowledge the special gift we've been given here in Utah by having one of the deposits here in Mammoth!
Seven Point Star: The 7 Point Star or Heptagram is part of our design because it is the symbol for our Northstar Mine where we mine the Halloysite for our products. - The Northstar is the guiding star and a guiding principle is safety in our mining process, halloysite processing and safety in our products. These are guiding principles as well as our strong ethical business practices. - The points of the star have an assigned direction - North, South, East, West, Above, Below and Within. We all have the power within to make change happen and move in a positive direction! - The Norse symbol or rune has strong significance and meaning in the points - power and strength, love, prosperity, peace, fortune, creativity and direction! We believe that you will reap the rewards of these products as you incorporate them into your skincare regimen.
